Benesch Dedicates Children's Library With directionfrom Benesch's resident librarian, Ann Porter, a list of prominent children's books was compiled to insure the books collected included the classic and popular titles for the students to enjoy. Benesch employees also decorated the library, including a hand painted mural of a learning tree, and provided furniture and bookshelves to make it an inviting place for the children. At the ribbon cutting ceremony C. David Paragas, partner-in-charge of Benesch's Columbus office, accompanied by Senator Ray Miller dedicated the library today, "We are proud to be here today to dedicate the Benesch Children's Library to the teachers, children and families of St. Stephen's. We believe this is only the beginning of what we can to do for the families of St. Stephen's, Paragas stated. We are looking forward to a continued effort in collecting books for the library, but more importantly sharing our time by volunteering to help maintain the library, as well as reading these books with the children." St. Stephen's Board members also shared in the dedication today. John Igel, President of the Board stated, "This gift is much appreciated because of the thoughtful consideration of the Benesch staff. This is just not a one time check, but rather the gift of a committed relationship that we know will make a lasting difference here at St Stephen's. The families and children of St. Stephen's have benefited from many great ideas over the years, but none like Benesch's library with a long-term plan to maintain it and help it grow for years to come!" | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
